About Pack 3
Cub Scouts is now Family Scouting, which includes boys and girls kindergarten through fifth grades. Members join the pack and are assigned to a den, usually a group of six to ten scouts in the same grade. Dens stay together from year to year. Dens in Pack 3 typically meet once or twice a month for an hour or two.
Since scouting emphasizes relationships between children and their parents, parents are expected to accompany scouts to all meetings. Parents are also invited and encouraged to run activities at den meetings, join a committee, or volunteer in some way that can benefit the troop. Activities in scouting are oriented to involve both the scouts and their parents.
